The Gallipoli Centenary Peace Campaign is currently circulating a petition which calls for Richardson’s Outlook to be declared a Peace and Reconciliation Park. Richardson’s Outlook is bounded by Holt Crescent and Thornley Street in Marrickville South and overlooks Warren Park and the Cooks River.

With the Gallipoli Centenary commemorations planned for April 2015, we believe the creation of a Peace and Reconciliation Park would not only evoke the unique history of this precinct but it would also remind us all that we need to become more resolute about peace in the future.
